The Open Community for Research is a co-located event organised by the Eclipse Foundation as part of the Open Community Experience (OCX).
Its mission is to bring together researchers and innovators who use or contribute to open source technologies, providing a vibrant space to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build new collaborations.
The event welcomes participants from diverse fields, including software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, cloud, edge, and IoT—united by a common goal: strengthening open research and innovation through collaboration.

How to Participate
💬 Call for Presentations
Researchers and innovators are invited to submit presentations showcasing their work, including:
- Innovative research projects and case studies
- Applications leveraging or contributing to open source technologies
📢 Disseminate Your Work
Participants are encouraged to bring and share their dissemination materials—including posters, roll-ups, stickers, flyers, or other project assets that highlight how your work contributes to open source ecosystems.
