Remote route optimisation and task planning of robot tractors

Overview

The O-CEI AI-block will optimise agricultural tasks in kiwi plantations, using state-of-the-art models for efficient operations and route planning, with real-time data storage and semi-autonomic management.

Expected Outcomes

  • To optimise navigation and scheduling of tasks within the field using AI utilities from the Marketplace to cut downtime and energy waste.
    • KPI: Time to collect, analyse and act upon (un)expected event: reduction of 70% (over current 2h).
  • To monitor live energy data while demonstrating how IoT based monitoring and edge analytics can reduce e-tractor energy use, enabling farmers to make more efficient decisions.
    • KPI: Reduction of energy consumption of 50% (kWh/ha*year) compared to annual l/ha.
