Overview

This use case utilises satellite optical remote sensing and data analytics to enhance Water Use Efficiency (WUE) in agriculture. Through the implementation of precise irrigation methods, it supports ESG principles and the SDGs, fostering sustainable water management and reducing consumption. 

 

Expected Outcomes

  • Decrease (optimise) irrigation costs and improve agricultural yields.
    • KPI: ≥20% reduction of water consumption.
    • KPI: ≥20% reduction of water consumption while keeping same crop performance.
    • KPI: Increase of profitability ≥ 10%.
